Dr. Civelli’s laboratory at the University of California, Irvine, is seeking applications for a part-time Specialist or Student Assistant (BS, MS, PhD level, junior to senior). The lab focuses on discovering bioactive compounds from therapeutic plants and their effects through behavioral models.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will apply behavioral models in rodents to explore the functions of compounds isolated from therapeutic plants. This role involves hands-on participation in cutting-edge pharmacological research.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with rodent behavioral models is required.
  • Interest in pharmacology and natural product research is preferred.
