May 17: Panelists Discuss Collective Memory during the UCI Brain Dialogue Series


Join us Monday, May 17 from 6:30-8 p.m. PST for our UCI Brain Dialogue Series: 4C the Future, where faculty from across the UCI campus will discuss Collective Memory.
In this panel, Drs. Margaret Gilbert, Erika Hayasaki, Judith Kroll, and Mark Andrew LeVine will dialog about their perspectives of the nature of collective memory, and will delve into the mechanisms of construction/reconstruction and transgenerational transmission of collective memory through time and space, the significance of language, beliefs and art in forming collective memory, and its role in shaping our self- and collective identity.
