Consciousness April 19 6:30-8pm

Join us Monday, April 19 from 6:30-8 p.m. PST for our UCI Brain Dialogue Series: 4C the Future, where faculty from across the UCI campus will discuss Consciousness.

In this panel, Drs. Yama Akbari, Donald Hoffman, Megan Peters, and Theresa Jean Tanenbaum will discuss their different views about one of humanity’s biggest mysteries: consciousness and free will. Our panelists will dive into a genuine dialogue on the nature of consciousness, our existence, and our subjective experiences; and will explore the origin of consciousness, and its relationship with the physical world and free will.

About the Dialogue Series

The UCI Brain Dialogue series is a monthly forum that brings together researchers studying one phenomenon from various perspectives. Events will include 10-minute presentations from 3-4 invited speakers, followed by a moderated discussion and Q&A. This series is designed for both academics and the public.
