The Artistic Brain

The Artistic Brain is one of UCI Brain’s cross-cutting themes centered on the arts entitled.
The Artistic Brain will foster innovative new research and education programs at the interface of neuroscience and the performing arts, the neural/computational basis of aesthetic creativity, and links between artistic expression and brain health and social relationships. As the Initiative’s most diverse and transdisciplinary theme, The Artistic Brain will also serve as a key conduit for dialogues with society and community engagement.
