FreeThe Center for Aging Research in Down Syndrome will host Deborah Fidler, PhD, Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University (CSU) and Director of the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Division of the CSU Prevention Research Center, for their virtual event. Dr. Fidler has served as Editor of the American Journal on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Co-Editor of the International Review of Research in Developmental Disabilities. She co-directs the RAM Scholars program, an inclusive post-secondary education program for adults with intellectual disability to build pathways to meaningful employment.
Translational Research in Down syndrome: A Developmental Approach
Her research focuses on development in children with neurogenetic conditions associated with intellectual disability, with an emphasis on phenotypic profiles in individuals with Down syndrome.
