MSTP Distinguished Lecture Series

August 26, 2019 @ 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The UCI MSTP Distinguished Lectures Series committee, together with the co-sponsorship of Department of Neurobiology and Behavior, is honored to host Dr. Ying-Hui Fu on Monday August 26th 2019 to give a talk about her groundbreaking research on the molecular mechanisms of circadian rhythm and sleep behaviors.

Dr. Ying-Hui Fu is a Professor of Neurology at UCSF who uses human genetics combined with multiple model organisms to investigate molecular mechanisms of human conditions. Her laboratory has been focusing on two areas: one in myelin biology and the other in circadian rhythm and sleep behaviors.

She is widely recognized for her contributions, has recently been elected to both National Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Medicine, and given the nature of her work, we believe her talk will be of strong interest to the department.

When: 4pm Monday August 26th 2019
Where: Telemedicine Room, located in the basement) Medical Education Building on School of Medicine campus

Following the talk, there will be a reception to promote further discussion with Dr. Fu.
