Ion Channels as Critical Regulators of Immunity
Dr. Stephan Feske’s research focuses on signaling pathways in cells of the immune system, particularly store-operated calcium entry (SOCE), mediated by the calcium release–activated calcium (CRAC) channel, and other ion channels.
The Feske lab investigates how CRAC channels are activated, how they affect cell physiology, and how calcium signals control immune function in the contexts of infection, autoimmunity, and cancer.
